Let’s Discuss Sex

GOD SAYS SEX IS GOOD, BUT PREMARITAL SEX IS NOT?

That’s right:  There should be no sexual activity for you until you are married

1 Corinthians 7:2-4 But since there is so much immorality, each man should have his own wife, and each woman her own husband.  3  The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. 4  The wife’s body does not belong to her alone but also to her husband. In the same way, the husband’s body does not belong to him alone but also to his wife.

Many people have sex for the first time when they are teens or older, not before. If someone’s boasting about having sex, it’s possible they’re pretending.

There are no rules about how long you have to be going out with someone before you have sex. Being ready happens at different times for everyone – don’t decide to have sex just because your friends or partner are pressuring you.

Working out when you’re ready to have sex and feeling comfortable about it is one of life’s big decisions. You’re the only one who can, and should, decide.

Sex isn’t the only aspect of a relationship, and there are other ways of enjoying each other’s company. Discuss what you want and what you don’t want to do.

You can do other things you both like, such as talking, meeting each other’s family and friends, going to parties or the movies, taking part in sport, walking, reading and discussing books, going to church together and listening to music.

Don’t feel awkward about saying no to sex or kissing, touching or any other sexual activity. ‘No’ is an important word in sex and relationships

Nobody has the right to make you go further than you want to. You also have every right to say no, at any point, whoever you’re with. If you want to have sex but your boyfriend or girlfriend or friend doesn’t, you must respect their feelings.

1 Corinthians 3:16 Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you?

I do not own the rights to the song
